Black lines in your art result in thin raised metal walls while white sections of the art result in recessed areas. Soft enamel colors are laid in by hand to the recessed areas. The colors are baked, the metal polished and each piece is trimmed to shape. A no-turn nail is attached and finally the piece is plated (gold or silver).
